Honorary Doctor of Fine Arts from Five Towns College
Five Towns College awarded me an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts at its 51st annual commencement on May 8, 2025, on Long Island, New York. Nominated by the college’s vice president, Dr. Janet Kaplan, I addressed the graduating class about my career as an artist and the origins of Techspressionism.
The official recording below begins at my acceptance speech, 41:29 into the ceremony. I spoke about my experience across painting, drawing and technology, and the development of an international community of artists. Read my account of the occasion.
