Improbable Forms is a solo exhibition of new hand-painted works on birch panels by East End artist Colin Goldberg.
The works in this exhibition explore multiple dualities: the gesture and control, the past and the future, abstraction and figuration.
This body of work combines traditional and digital artmaking practices through the use of a specialized pigment transfer process, resin, and hand-painting.
The exhibition is presented by Peconic Green Growth and was funded by a generous grant from the Huntingon Arts Council and the New York State Council on the Arts.
